Novak Djokovic vs. Alex Molkan

In form Novak Djokovic will be looking to seal his place in the third round of the French Open as he battles Alex Molcan in the second round. Djokovic dropped just four games in his first round against Yoshihito Nishioka and is in great form at the moment.

Meanwhile, Molcan advanced to the second round by defeating Federico Correa 6-3, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in the first round. Molcan entered the French Open after being runner-up at the Lyon Open. He was also runner-up in the Grand Prix Hassan II earlier this year. The 24-year-old star will face a tough challenge against the world’s number one team.

Carlos Alcaraz vs. Albert Ramos-Vinolas

Sixth seed Carlos Alcaraz will face compatriot Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the second round on Tuesday. Alcaraz showed great form in the first round with just six games left to beat Juan Londero in the first round. Alcaraz, who defeated both Djokovic and Nadal in Madrid earlier this year, is seen as one of the contenders for the Roland Garros title.

Emma Radukanu vs. Aliaksandra Sasnovich

The British 12th seed, making his professional debut at Roland Garros this year, lost his first match since winning his shock US Open in 2021 to 47th-ranked Sasnovich in Indian Wells.

Radukanu, who suffered a back injury in the run-up to Roland Garros, ended the swing with a 6-5 record on his first clay-court. The 19-year-old has successfully reached at least the second round of his debut in each of the four majors.

The result continues a strong season for Sasnovich, who has improved from the current No. 47 at the end of 2021 to the current No. 47 for an overall season record of 21-10.

Maria Sakkari vs. Carolina Muchova

Carolina Muchova, the former top 20 Czech 2021 semifinalist and No. 4 seed, knocked out Maria Sakkari of Greece 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) in the second round on Wednesday. Sakkari is the fifth top 10 pick to be sent home from Paris in the first three days of the tournament.

She is in the third round with No. 27 pick Amanda Anisimova, another former semifinalist. The sixth top 10 win of Muchova’s career did not come easily. He needed eight set points to win the opener, where Sakkari tied the game 5-2 and in the second set he led twice in the first break.
