Padraig Harrington made an incredible start to his final round at the Horizon Irish Open.

The US Open senior champion made 6 birdies in the opening eight holes and turned into 30.

The last nine holes were not so successful for Dubliner. At 10 a double bogie saw him lose speed. The 16- and 18-year-old bogus saw the former dual open champion finish at -3 for the 2020 Horizon Irish Open round with a birdie in the seventeenth hole – his overall score of -7 is the best of the week.

Waterford’s Seamus Power’s three birdies and an eagle were equal to three 6th. He is currently under four in the round and seven under for the tournament.

Niall Kearney had four birdies and two bogeys in two under-par rounds of the 70’s and this year’s Horizon Irish Open will end on the 4th.

Shane Lori, the overnight main Irish player, tidied off at 11.40am and immediately birdied the opening hole. After the purse race in the next three holes, Clara-Native claims her second birdie in the 5th hole round. He is currently close to two-under and -9 overall for his final round as he shifts.
