The IPL governing body said in a statement:Mumbai Indians batsman Suryakumar Yadav has been ruled out of the TATA IPL 2022 due to a left arm muscle injury. Mr Yadav was injured during the team’s match against the Gujarat Titans on the 6thM May, 2022. “

“Suryakumar has scored 303 runs at an average of 43.29 in 8 matches for the Mumbai Indians this season, including 3 half-centuries.” Read more of the statement.
Despite missing the first few matches due to another injury, Yadav is one of the best batsmen for the Mumbai Indians this season. He has scored three half centuries so far – against Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals.
