HS Prannoy vs Kodai Naraoka

In-form HS Prannoy cruised into the quarter-finals for the second time in two weeks, defeating world No. 4 Chou Tien-Chen. The world No. 19 is looking for his fourth appearance in a semifinal this year. His best performance was a runner-up finish at the Swiss Open and he is now eyeing his first title. He will face Japan’s Abashai Kodai Naraoka in the quarterfinals.

PV Sindhu vs. Han Yu

Indian Olympic medalist PV Sindhu put up a tough fight against lesser-known Nguyen Thuy Lin in the second round as she won the match in three sets. He will aim for a better performance in the upcoming competition as he faces China’s Han Yue. Han Yu defeated India’s Asmita Chaliha in straight sets to reach the quarterfinals.
