Seamus Power remains the top Irishman at the Horizon Open.

The Waterford man made three cards in the under-par round of 68 today and found himself at -8, three shots behind Spanish tournament leader Jorge Campillo.

US Open senior champion Padrag Harrington posted a 72, which is a worse shot than his first round. Today’s round consisted of six birdies, two bogies and a double bogey on the seventh hole.

An incredible four birdies in the last four holes saw Shane Lori get involved with Mount Juliet over the weekend. Before 15M Hole, the Afali man had four bogies and only two birdies on his card. His Round 70 left him at the cut-off mark of -3.

Niall Kearney, the joint-leading Irish player, dropped eight shots from the lead at -3 with Shane Lori after shooting an over-per-round of 73 in the second round yesterday.

Amateur Mark Power and Penn Campbell Jr. finished their tournament with rounds of par and three-over par, respectively.

Other Irish golfers John Murphy, Carmack Sharvin, Jonathan Cadwell, Paul Dunn and David Higgins all failed to finish their participation in the 2022 Horizon Irish Open.
