Prabhu, who is on loan from Hyderabad FC to Odisha FC for the second half of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 season, will be at Odisha FC next season, this time as a permanent Odisha FC player. ÔÇťOrissa FC wants to announce that Nikhil Prabhu has completed a permanent transfer from Hyderabad FC with an undisclosed fee. He joined the 2-year contract with the option to extend for another year. The club said in a statement on their official website.

Prabhu came up through the ranks playing in the Mumbai local league and was constantly impressed with his talent. FC Pune City signed up for their Under-18 team in 2018 before joining Hyderabad FC’s youth team a year later.

He was promoted to the senior team of ISL 2020-21 but was not able to show for the people of Manuel Marquez who missed a little in the semifinals.

He then joined Lone Odisha FC in January 2022 and made three appearances for the club.
