New Zealand cricket schedule: New Zealand India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and England will host a pack home summer for them this year.

New Zealand will host England in a day-night Test in the opening match of the series at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui from 16 February. This is the first time since 2018 where New Zealand defeated England at Eden Park.

  • The New Zealand home season will begin in October. They organized a tri-nation series featuring Pakistan and Bangladesh.
  • After the ICC T20 World Cup, India will tour for a three-match T20I and ODI series.
  • New Zealand will start touring Pakistan and India for a short series before returning to host England for two Tests.
  • Following the conclusion of that series, New Zealand will host Sri Lanka for a full tour of two Tests, three Twenty20s and three ODIs.

NZC chief executive David White said. “Visiting India, England and Sri Lanka at the top of the tour of Pakistan and Bangladesh means that cricket fans can look forward to the summer of the best quality cricket.”

“We recognize the challenges of the current environment – and our priority is to make international cricket as accessible as possible.

“Following last season’s restrictions from Covid, we want to make sure our venues and fixtures are affordable and welcome.”
