Under the leadership of MS Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings have won four titles including IPL 2021. MS Dhoni handed over the captaincy to Jadeja just before the start of the season However, Chennai Super Kings started badly after losing the first four matches.
The captaincy had a negative effect on Jadeja’s players. He has lost his form. The all-rounder struggled with the bat and CSK could not even take the required wickets.
Injuries to Adam Milne and Deepak Chahar complicated things for CSK, but Jadeja failed to impress as a leader.
With six matches left in the season, CSK has little hope of reaching the playoffs if they can win six and it will be a big task to take MS Dhoni’s team to the playoffs.
