Khabib vs. Tony: Khabib vs. Tony is known among fans as the ‘cursed fight’ because it has been canceled five times for a record number.
Tony Ferguson was seen as the biggest threat to Khabib’s unbeaten streak and they were supposed to fight for the first time in 2015 but it was canceled due to Khabib’s rib injury.
Tony then had to retreat due to injury and the third time the fight was fixed, Tony fell over a wire after the press conference and the fight was canceled.
Kovid happened and the fight was canceled again because Khabib was under a travel ban and could not get into the fight. Khabib then moved to Sunset and retired and Tony Ferguson is now on the skid after losing four fights.

Khabib Nurmagomedov accepts Tony Ferguson’s offer to squash beef: We can finally see Khabib and Tony squash their restless long-term beef but not inside the octagon as fighters.
Tony suggested in a recent interview that he and Khabib could coach their respective teams in Ultimate Fighter and squash beef and leave with a handshake.
Tony mentions that Khabib’s father wants them to fight and that this is a good way to deal with it. Khabib took a good note of it and talked to Tony about his boss and if they can’t fix it he’ll do something about it at Eagle FC.
