“He doesn’t bring any points and he doesn’t have the speed the team needs to build the car. So he just spends their money. It would be cheaper to continue to pay Ricciardo, let him sit on the sofa at home and let another driver sit in the car. That’s the decent thing to do, and it should end there. ” He added.

Meanwhile, the 1980 F1 champion echoed similar sentiments about his fellow Australian. Talking to Herald Sun, he said “Unless she’s improving, she’s smart. This year Hani started on a low note for Badger as his best result came in the Australian Grand Prix, where he finished sixth. In seven races, he retired one and in the other five races he finished below tenth place, which means he got zero points.
