India’s head coach Rahul Dravid will join the Indian team in England after the Twenty20 series against South Africa ends on Sunday.
India will play a Test against England in Edgbaston on July 1-5 and then three ODIs and multiple T20s.

Team India ready for England tour- Although there will be no bio-bubble like last time, this time there will be no charter flight. All players were tested for Covid-19 before boarding the flight to England.
Arriving in London, they will go to Leicester. There, from June 24, there will be a brief camp in India before the warm-up match.
Coaching set up for tour –
To prepare themselves for the tour of Ireland, National Cricket Academy coaches Sitangshu Kotak, Siraj Bahutule and Munish Bali will take charge of the activities from the fourth T20 of the ongoing India v South Africa series. The trio will then accompany NCA chief VVS Laxman as part of the Ireland series support staff.
- Rahul Dravid will be in charge of the entire series against South Africa.
- NCA coach Siraj Bahutule, Munish Bali and Sitangshu Kotak will take charge of the final two matches in Rajkot and Bangalore.
- The rest of David’s coaching staff – Vikram Rathore, Pars Mambre, T Dilip will go to England with Rohit Sharma & Company.
- Rahul Dravid, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer will leave after the SA series on June 19.
- A separate squad has been announced for the Ireland series.
- VVS Laxman, Ireland tour squad and coaches will leave on 22 June.

India travel plans for England tour-
- The BCCI has asked Rohit Sharma and the players selected for the Test squad to assemble in Mumbai by June 15.
- All the players except Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant will leave for England on 16 June.
- All players will have two sets of RT-PCR Covid Tests before boarding the flight to England.
- If someone tests positive, they will have to wait and serve a mandatory isolation period before moving to England.
- The second batch, including head coach Rahul Dravid, will leave Bangalore for London on June 19.
- Like last time, the players will be able to take their families on the tour of England.
- However, this time there will be no charter flight.
