Players gather in Delhi

Team India members began gathering in the capital on Sunday as they looked forward to a record 13th win. Star players like KL Rahul and co-captain Rishabh Pant have all come for the high-voltage series to make an impression.

Dinesh Karthik who had a great IPL 2022 campaign was also part of the team as he noticed a place in the T20 World Cup in Australia. Young stars like Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh are also part of the team after being impressed in IPL 2022.

Players will take net session on Monday evening-

  • The net sessions of the first T20I are scheduled for Monday evening, as a new-looking squad will add color to Team India.
  • Head coach Rahul Dravid is keeping an eye on the build-up as some players will be bidding for a place in the upcoming T20 World Cup as well as the upcoming tour of England.
  • Omran Malik, who was running the NFS competition for the fastest delivery in the IPL, will also be on the net on Monday.
  • Deepak Hooda and Hardik Pandya will also take the session as they try to maintain their great form after a successful IPL campaign.
  • The spinning duo of Akshar Patel and Ravi Vishnu will also try to take advantage of the conditions before the first T20.
