Australia dominates Sri Lanka

An incredible four-wicket haul from Travis Head led Australia to a huge 10-wicket win in Galle and a 1-0 lead in the series. Australia’s spin team is on the verge of winning a drawn Test series abroad by bowling the spectators.

This is the first time in 14 years that the Aussies have won a Test series. Sri Lanka had no match in Australia’s bowling attack and fell into a pile on the 3rd day of the first Test in Galle.

With no wickets in the match, Travis Head hit four off 17 balls and was praised by his teammates off the field after beating Sri Lanka by 113 runs in just 22.5 overs.

  • As the situation stands, Australia have a nine-match winning percentage of 7.8. They have won six and drawn three.
