Men’s Singles – Goal Sen Asian Championship Draw: 2021 World Championship bronze medalist Lakshya Sen fifth pick. The goal is to start the campaign against Li Shifeng of China in the first round.

Seventh pick in Srikanth Kidambi tournament. He will face NG Young of Malaysia in the first round.

Sai Praneeth has also qualified for the event and will face fourth-seeded Jonathan Christie in the first round.

Meanwhile, HS Romance, who reached the final of this year’s Swiss Open, withdrew from the event due to injury.

Men’s Doubles – India in Asian Badminton: In the men’s doubles, Chirag Shetty and Sattviksairaj Rankireddy got the third pick and are placed in a group which also includes Malaysia’s fifth pick Aaron Chia and Soh Wei Ik.

The Indian duo will launch their campaign against Thailand’s Epiluk Geterahung and Natchanan Tulamok.

India have three more men’s doubles pairs in the tournament. Dhruv Kapila and MR Arjun will play against fourth seed MR Arjun and Dhruv Kapila of Indonesia.

Krishna Prasad Garaga and Vishnuvardhan Panjala will face Kang Min Hyuk and Kim On-Hor of South Korea.

Women’s Draw – Women’s Singles: PV Sindhu Asian Badminton: PV Sindhu, who won the Swiss Open title this year, has entered the tournament as the fourth pick.

In the first round, he will fight against Chinese Taipei’s Pi Yu-po. He has been kept in an easy quarter. The only other player selected in this quarter is China’s fifth seed He Bingjiao.

Saina Nehwal will also be in this tournament. He will face South Korea’s Sim Yu-Jin in the first round. Malvika Bansod and Akashi Kashyap will also play in this tournament.

Women’s Doubles Draw – India in Asian Badminton: In the women’s doubles, Ashwini Ponnappa and Sikki Reddy got fourth pick but decided to withdraw. 2nd Indian pair – Gayatri Gopichand and Trisa Jolly have withdrawn from the tournament.

India will now see the participation of Simran Singhi and Ritika Tagore who will fight seventh seed Parli Tan and Thinah Muralitharan.

Ashwini Bhatt and Shikha Gutam are another Indian pair and they will face Malaysia’s un-seeded Anna Cheung and Teoh Mei Jing in the first round.

Mixed Doubles – India in Asian Badminton: Ishan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Cresto will face Hong Kong’s Young Enga Ting and Lo Cheuk in the first round. Meanwhile, Indonesia’s fourth-seeded veteran Jordan and Melati Oktavianti will face Venkat Gaur Prasad and Juhi Dewangan.
