Ruturaj Gaikwad started India’s innings with Sanju Samson. Sanju Samson continued his good form after his strong knock against Ireland in the second T20, while Gaikwad failed to impress the selectors with big runs and his batting skills.
India started their innings with Samson and Gaikwad to chase the 151-run target given by Derbyshire. Ruturaj had high expectations after his poor performance against the South Africa series, with Gaikwad scoring just 3 runs in the game. Gaikwad’s cheap dismissal of 3 runs in 4 deliveries was not well received by the Indian fans.
