F1 Azerbaijan GP FP3 Live: The FP2 session is over and Ferrari’s Charles Lacklark is at the top of the charts after an amazing drive on Baku Road. He followed both Red Bull drivers as Perez claimed second place and followed Verstappen. Meanwhile, Mercedes is still struggling, and the extra bouncing has not helped their cause. Charles Leclerc was the fastest in the FP2 session after a stunning drive as he was quiet enough to stay on top. Both Red Bulls were tailing the Monegasque driver but could not catch him as he finished second and third in the FP2 session.

The Spaniard finished fourth as Fernando Alonso, followed by Ferrari’s Carlos Sange, who settled for fifth. Pierre Gasley’s office in Alfatouri had a great day as he claimed sixth place.

George Russell was only seventh in his W13 Challenger for Mercedes because he too was directly subjected to excessive bouncing. Yuki Sunoda had to settle for eighth place, followed by Alpine’s Esteban Okon in ninth place.

McLaren’s Lando Norris showed improvement in the FP2 session and could only finish tenth overall. He is followed by the experienced driver Sebastian Vettel, who finished 11th.

Seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton has slipped to 12th place. He is followed by Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll in 13th and Daniel Ricciardo in 14th.

The Australian has been criticized by many former drivers and pundits lately because he desperately needs a good result under his belt. Alfa Romeo’s Valteri Botas had to settle for 15th place, and his teammate Guanyu Zhou was in 15th place.

Kevin Magnusen could not do much by claiming the seventeenth position. William’s Alex Albon is 18th and he’s 19th in the Mick Schumacher.

It looked like Mick was small in confidence while driving and it shows up on the track as well. He was not so comfortable in the bends and thus could not make much of an impact. He was the first driver to sit outside due to a water leak in the FP1 session.

Last but not least, Nicholas Latifi finished the FP2 session because he didn’t make much of an impact either. He was the second driver in the FP1 session to sit outside because he lost the power of his car. Mick and Latifi are both desperate for track time and good results under their belts because they are taking a lot of heat from their esteemed team.
