“The best thing is that cricket has been included in the CWG. It was really nice to see it. All the best to our women’s team and may they win the CWG,” Bhuvneshwar said in a BCCI video.

Bhuvi praised the women of India: After a painful loss to Australia, India bounced back strongly against Pakistan. They picked up crucial wins against their arch-rivals with both bat and ball.

It was a team effort with Sneh Rana and Radha Yadav taking two wickets each to get them out for 99 runs. Instead, India’s batsmen had no problem in the second innings chasing the target in the 12th over. Smriti Mandhana starred with an unbeaten 63. Bhuvneshwar believes that such a solid win will help India build more confidence in their remaining matches.

“What we saw today was a very clinical performance. How they got out in such cheap scores and got them easily. This will help build confidence for the rest of the competition,” he added.
