Quick finishing to win the 2022 Cazoon Oaks at Epsom has put up a strong fight on Tuesday to hold dear Emily Aapjan.

The win was the tenth success of coach Aidan O’Brien’s run, which was ridden by Galileo’s daughter Ryan Moore.

On Tuesday, the three-year-old, who is out of Lily Lantry, made her Minding’s full sister, the top-rated Philly of 2016 worldwide.

Short-head runner-up Emily Upzan, under Frankie Detori, was unlucky for the Ipsom Classic because she stumbled out of the opening stall, meaning she ended up after a furlong.

John and Thadi Gosden-trained Philly advanced throughout the 1m4 furlong race, but ran straight home on her first Tuesday, and will not be denied in line.

The Cazoo Oaks win for Aidan O’Brien was the record 41st British Classic achievement for Ballydoyle Handler, surpassing John Scott, who trained between 1827 and 1863.
